I was lucky enough to recently gain a beta account for Daytum, an interesting new service that lets you collect and display daily data (similar to the type of data co-founder Nicholas Feltron drew on for his awesome Annual Report). At the same time, I’ve been playing with Fluid, which lets you create standalone apps from websites. Fluid seemed perfect for Daytum as it meant I could create an application for my dock, making it quick to access and also visible as a reminder to post data to it.

By default Fluid uses a website’s favicon when creating an icon for the new standalone application. Needless to say, this doesn’t scale well… so I threw together a new icon for my Daytum standalone. If anyone else out there is using Fluid + Daytum and you would like the icon, you can download a zip of the files from Flickr.
