The Sultans Elephant, from 2006, in which a giant mechanical girl and elephant walked the streets of London. The scale of this project is insane — how the hell did I not hear about this when it happened?!

The project was constructed by French theatrical engineers La Machine, and their latest project is a giant mechanical spider sitting on the side of a building.
