I was browsing through my Evernote archive and came across this great poster from Methane Studios. Evernote has been great for recording information, ideas and images, but I seldom remember to look back on the information I’ve collected. If this is anything to go by, it seems I’ve squirreled away some gems that need revisiting.

♪.tumblr.com is yet another lovely project from Jarred Bishop, utilising the new album art features Tumblr recently launched. Rumour has it that Jarred never sleeps.

It is interesting to note the use of the unicode ‘♪’ character in the URL. While it looks great, it raises a few issues for users – most notably that it’s difficult to type, and many people would not even know how. Also, not all systems are set up to support them. A case in point is that here on Tumblr I can’t link to the site in this text area without the URL breaking, due to whatever encoding the text field is run through (though URL fields seem to still work, for example the link around the image above). It will be interesting to see whether the use of characters will become more widely adopted.

This spot for Armadillo Scooter Wear is awesome. The guy needs a posse. A badass posse of scooter riders, impervious to cream pies, glass, walls, and fire. AWESOME.

Wow. I haven’t been able to find the direct source of this image, but apparently BMW Classic restored this BMW 328 and entered it into the Mille Miglia this year – a race won by this model car back in 1940. In 2006 BMW designed a concept car based on the 328. (via baubauhaus)
